ACE Interface

Across the state of Wisconsin, professionals are trained to educate on the effects of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and the long-term effects on life-long health.

This science-informed, evidence-based curriculum walks people through what is called NEAR Science:

• How toxic stress and trauma affect the brain (Neurobiology)
• How the impact of early adversity and trauma can be transmitted from one generation to the next (Epigenetics)
• More in-depth information about the findings from the original study (Adverse Childhood Experiences)
• How to build strength and capacity in individuals and communities (Resilience)

This training can be customized to the audience and timeframe (between one to four hours depending on desired outcomes) and is offered free of charge. We can deliver this training in-person or virtually.

Cultivating Healthy Relationships at Work

During this 1 to 1.5 hour training, you will have the opportunity to learn more about what recent research says about feeling a sense of belonging at work, and why building and maintaining healthy relationships may be important to organizational success.

Topics will include: trust, boundaries, and authenticity for leaders and staff.

There will be an opportunity for self-discovery through group discussions and reflection.

Healing Environments and Youth

Today’s youth are our future leaders! Learn more about how trauma and stress influence brain development and attachment. We will also consider how the Covid-19 pandemic may continue to shape youth development today.

During this 1-1.5 hour session, you will also be given the opportunity to engage in discussion as well as Q&A.

TIC Roadmap Toolkit Overview

Take your TIC Journey another step further by implementing the TIC Roadmap.

During this brief introductory training, we want to empower to you feel successful navigating the Roadmap from the start. At this 1 hour session, you will be walked through the principles of the TIC Roadmap, and learn more about implementation and evaluation.

You also be given time and direction to work with your team on developing an action plan for success.
