You’re invited to a Free Adverse Childhood Experiences Workshop!

This is a free 3 hour virtual training hosted by The Community Alliance for Trauma Informed Care.

The training will be held on Zoom on Tuesday, January 30th from 9AM- Noon CT.

ACE-Interface was created by Dr. Rob Anda, the Co-Principal Investigator of the ACE Study and Laura Porter, a public servant who has expertise in building community capacity to address the potential negative effects of ACEs on community health.

This science-informed, evidence-based curriculum walks people through what is called NEAR Science:

-How toxic stress and trauma affect the brain (Neurobiology)

-How the impact of early adversity and trauma can be transmitted from one generation to the next (Epigenetics)

-More in-depth information about the findings from the original study (Adverse Childhood Experiences)

-How to build strength and capacity in individuals and communities (Resilience)

Please join us for our free monthly Learning Community!

During this time you will be guided through a facilitated conversation around various topics regarding trauma informed care.

This time is intended to serve as a way to dive deeper into the trauma informed care principles, offer peer support, share ideas, and learn from others in our communities.

There is nothing to prepare ahead of time for these gatherings and you are welcome to participate in whatever capacity feels good to you.

We encourage you to have your video camera turned on if you are able; in this way we are better equipped to build a sense of virtual community.

All individuals interested in enhancing their capacity for compassionate leadership, collaborative problem-solving, and ongoing learning are welcome and encouraged to join!

Organizational leaders are especially encouraged to attend.
